44 Was his football number.
14 Was his hockey number.
Jeff Stone was a standout Newburyport High School football and hockey player in the late 1990s and went on to serve as an assistant hockey coach for the beloved Clippers for 12 years. Throughout his life, he remained deeply committed to Newburyport High School and dedicated countless hours to supporting its charitable programs.
His athletic prowess, developed from a young age at treasured local grounds like Pioneer League and Graf Rink, helped him become one of the most successful and decorated athletes in Newburyport High School history, where he lettered in both football and hockey.
His talent and passion for both sports continued at the collegiate level, where he competed as a Division I-A athlete at Colgate University.
